About This Resource

Cybersecurity Mind Maps is a set of 150 visual mind maps for people who are starting to learn cybersecurity. Its original Dutch name is “150 Cybersecurity Mindmaps”. The maps are arranged in a logical sequence in three stages: foundations; defence and networks; and SOC, penetration testing and cloud.

Each mind map follows the same eight-part layout: what the subject is, what it is for, what it comprises, examples or risks, benefits or controls, a practical example, best practices and a short summary. The subjects range from basic security concepts and networking to malware, cryptography, identity and access, web security and incident response.

The material itself is written in Dutch. The mind maps help you understand and revise concepts. They do not replace practice in your own lab or in authorised environments, and they do not replace official documentation or exam-specific study material.
