About This Resource
The Crochet Pattern Library is a collection of more than 4,000 crochet patterns, organised by category: tops and blouses, babies and children, amigurumi, home decoration, and sweaters and cardigans. Its original Dutch name is “De Haakbibliotheek”.
The patterns are PDF files. A pattern page contains a materials list, the abbreviations used, step-by-step instructions, a stitch diagram and a legend. Many patterns are marked with a difficulty level, and a basics guide for people who are new to crochet is included.
The material itself is written in Dutch, including the stitch names and abbreviations. The patterns can be downloaded, printed or viewed on screen.
